The 2026 school year has commenced with remarkable energy in Room 8. Our students have settled confidently into their new routines, but what has been most impressive is how they have embraced their transition into the seniorsection of the school.
With senior status comes new responsibilities, and Room 8 is rising to the challenge. They are actively learning and performing diverse roles across the campus, showing great pride in their work. Most importantly, our seniors are becoming incrediblementors. By supporting their younger peers and fostering a collaborative environment, they are proving that leadership isn’t just a title—it’s an action. We are excited to see these young leaders continue to grow and inspire the rest of the school community.

Joining the senior section is an exciting milestone, and we are so pleased to have Keegan’s personality and energy added to our group. Our team and students are looking forward to supporting him as he navigates his new environment, builds fresh friendships, and discovers his place within our learning community.
Keegan has already begun his journey of settling in, and we can’t wait to see all the wonderful things he will achieve as he becomes an integral part of the Port Augusta Special School spirit.
